This is a huge fossil crinoid. It is a Traumatocrinus from China. This specimen has a very large crown that is preserved in a "starburst" pattern. The individual pinnules on the arms are easily seen. There is also ten inches of thick stem attached to the crinoid. This is a great display crinoid.
