This is a textbook fossil replica. It is an excellent fossil bat (Icaronycteris) replica from the Green River Formation of Wyoming. This specimen was acquired from the Richard Busch Collection, who was the Preparator/Asst. Curator at the North Museum in Lancaster, PA from 1965-1992. This fossil bat is one of the most complete and distinct examples of this type ever found. The detail is amazing, and the color is quite close to the actual fossil. This is a beautiful fossil bat replica acquired directly from the Richard Busch Collection.
