Here is an amazing multiple brittlestar plate from the Ordovician of Morocco. This fossil was acquired from the Richard Busch Collection. Busch was the Preparator/Asst. Curator at the North Museum in Lancaster, PA from 1965-1992. This plate contains three beautiful fossil brittlestars - TWO killer complete ones and a nice partial. The distinct brittlestars exhibit gorgeous detail - the ornate plate structure is very easily seen. The complete specimens are extremely well-preserved - it is highly unusual to have all five arms so nicely displayed. The fossils have excellent, natural orange coloration that contrasts strikingly with the grey matrix. The fossils are well showcased on the large plate of sandstone that also has two and a half brittlestars on the back side! This is a very cool multiple brittlestar plate from the famous Busch Collection.
