This is a very unusual fossil. It is a Starfish Resting Place from the Pennsylvanian of Kansas. This specimen came from a very old collection. This plate has one fabulous example and many partials preserved. There are also nematode tracks and other trackways fossilized. This is a very fine example of a beautiful Starfish Resting Place.
