Here is a very pretty ammonite from the Cretaceous of Madagascar. This fine ammonite has been cut in half and both halves have been highly polished for optimal display. The coiling pattern of the mollusk is easily seen, and the individual chambers are beautifully showcased. The gorgeous coloration of the interior of the ammonite makes for an exciting exhibit. This is a very attractive display fossil from Madagascar.
