Here is a very distinct Ice Age fossil. It is a very large Bison (buffalo) vertebra from the Pleistocene deposits of Nebraska. This vertebra is extremely 3-dimensional and has excellent shape and form. The detail of the fossil bone is exquisitely preserved, and the processes are easily seen. The specimen displays beautifully from all angles. This is an excellent specimen of a fossil vertebra from an Ice Age Buffalo.
