Here is an extremely interesting plate of Coal Age plants. These distinct ferns, Eusphenopteris obtusiloba, are from the Pennsylvanian of Poland. All of the fronds exhibit excellent detail. The slender stems are easily seen, and the individual clover-shaped leaves are clearly defined. The fossil plants have a distinct, dark coloration and contrast wonderfully with the grey shale. This is a very displayable specimen of these unusual fossil plants from Poland.
