This is a very aesthetic fossil fish plate from the Eocene of Wyoming. The fish in the middle is an excellent specimen of Knightia eocaena. The other two fish are nice specimens of Diplomystus dentatus. All three fish exhibit wonderful detail. The bone structures and fins are nicely displayed. The fossils have great color and contrast nicely with the cream-colored matrix. The fish are well showcased on the rectangular plate of shale. This is an excellent multiple specimen of two different fossil fish from the Green River Formation.
