This is a very prolific multiple plate of Gosiutichthys parvus from the Green River Formation of Wyoming. It is quite interesting that all the fossil fish are the same type and all are generally the same size. This plate came from an old collection and was found YEARS ago. There could be a hundred fish on this plate - we lost count! The fossils have excellent color and contrast and are naturally preserved on the large, natural matrix plate. This is a very collectible plate of many fossil fish from the Eocene.
