This is an extremely collectible dinosaur trace fossil. It is a very fine pair of Anchisauripus sillimani Dinosaur Tracks from the Jurassic of Connecticut. This specimen was acquired from the famous Chance Collection. These tracks wonderfully exhibit the three-toed nature of the dinosaur's foot - the claw impressions are even preserved! The positive tracks have been slightly darkened for contrast and are extremely well showcased on the squared plate of matrix. This is a textbook example of a pair of dinosaur tracks that would easily fit on a shelf or in a display case. (Comes with Dr. Chance's original reference photo and ID notes.)
