Here is a fabulous specimen of a fossil fern from the famous Tonganoxie Sandstone of Kansas. This specimen was recently acquired from an old collection. The specimen has very good color and contrast. The fern is quite complete and displays very fine detail. The specimen was collected in the 1970s - this site has been closed to collecting for a number of years. This is a very detailed specimen of a fossil fern from the classic locality at Ottawa, Kansas.

This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
