Here is a very displayable crinoid. This is a beautiful Mahoumacrinus sp. from the Silurian of Morocco. This classic camerate crinoid is very inflated and has a huge cup composed of many, many stellate plates. The extremely long, multi-branching, uniserial arms are beautifully displayed, and a portion of the stem is even intact and tightly attached. The dark grey crinoid contrasts wonderfully with the reddish-pink matrix and is well showcased on the large plate of limestone. The plate also contains many crinoid parts and a LONG stem section from another crinoid. This is a very detailed and very displayable example of Mahoumacrinus from Morocco.
