This is a very complete crinoid fossil. It is a very rare Unidentified Crinoid from the Ordovician of Morocco. This strange crinoid is very inflated and has great detail preserved. The extremely long, pinnulated arms are beautifully displayed, the LONG stem is fully intact, and the round float sac is even preserved (rare!). The dark red/orange crinoid contrasts wonderfully with the lighter pinkish matrix and is well showcased on the large plate of limestone that also contains a crinoid partial. This is a very complete, very detailed example of a crinoid with float ball still intact.
