This is a fine specimen of Dizygocrinus biturbinatus from the Warsaw Formation of Illinois. The crinoid has very good color and contrast. The fossil has wonderful detail - the plate structure of the cup is easily seen, and the arms are quite inflated. A sunstantial section of stem is also very well preserved. This is a very inflated example of Dizygocrinusbiturbinatus with stem still attached.
