Here is a very cool crinoid. This is a beautiful Scyphocrinites sp. from the Silurian of Morocco. This classic camerate crinoid is extremely inflated and has a huge cup composed of many, many stellate plates. The multi-branching, uniserial arms are well displayed. The dark grey crinoid contrasts wonderfully with the reddish-pink matrix and is well showcased on the large plate of limestone. This is a very affordable example of Scyphocrinites from Morocco.
