Here is an extremely interesting plate of fossils from the Rochester Shale of New York. There is a very fine example of Ichthyocrinus on the left side of the slab. This amazingly detailed crinoid is nicely inflated and has great plate structure. A complete Bumastus ioxus is present to the right of the crinoid. The trilobite is top quality and is extremely collectible in its own right. The fossils display very well on the large, rectangular plate of Rochester Shale. This is a unique example of a rare crinoid associated with a complete trilobite from the Silurian sea.
