Here is a rare crinoid specimen that we recently obtained from an old collection. This plate was collected many years ago in the Crinoid Beds near Waterloo, Illinois. There are three very nice crinoids preserved on the plate. The crinoids are so unusual, we can't even identify them! The sea lillies have great color and contrast and are wonderfully showcased on the large plate of limestone that is loaded with bryozoans. This is a very nice specimen of three crinoids from the closed Waterloo location.
