This is a very nice specimen of an Unidentified Crinoid from the famous Mississippian crinoid site at Crawfordsville, Indiana. The long-armed crinoid is extremely inflated and exhibits very fine detail. The plate structure of the small cone-shaped cup is very good. A small portion of stem is still attached to the cup. The crinoid has good color and contrast and is well showcased on the rectangular block of siltstone. This is a wonderful example of this unusual crinoid from Indiana.
