This is a very rare find. It is a fossil amber nugget with an insect trapped inside. This amber is 92 to 95 million years old, making it one of the oldest types of amber with insect inclusions. This specimen came from the famous site in Sayreville, New Jersey. The insect has nice form and is easily seen under high magnification (see photos). This is a collectible insect in amber fossil from the Time of the Dinosaurs!
