This is a very rare find. It is a fossil amber nugget with TWO insects trapped inside. This amber is 92 to 95 million years old, making it one of the oldest types of amber with insect inclusions. This specimen came from the famous site in Sayreville, New Jersey. The insects have nice form preserved - one looks like an ant, one is a winged fly (Sand Fly?). The inclusions can be seen under magnification (see photos). This is a collectible pair of insects in amber fossil from the Time of the Dinosaurs!
