Here is a unique crinoid specimen that we recently obtained from an old collection. This plate was collected many years ago in the Chesterian Beds near Anna, Illinois. There are FIVE crinoid crowns preserved on the plate. All of the crinoids are very 3-dimensional and exhibit fine detail - the plate structure of the echinoderms is beautifully defined. There are also THREE Archimedes bryozoans scattered about the plate. These unusual, corkscrew-shaped bryozoans are only found in the Mississippian of North America! The fossils have great color and contrast and are wonderfully positioned on the somewhat triangular plate of limestone that is loaded with other bryozoans. This is a very collectible specimen of crinoids and Archemedes bryozoans from a closed location.

This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
