Here is a very interesting plate of crinoids from the Mississippian of Indiana. There are three different crinoids on this slab. At the top of the plate is a fine specimen of Cyathocrinus sp. In the center of the plates is a very detailed example of Macrocrinus mundulus. This camerate crinoid has all of its long arms preserved. A wonderful example of Parascytalocrinus hamiltonensis is to the lower right of the Macrocrinus. This rare crinoid has its long, robust arms fully intact. The fossils have very good color and contrast and are well showcased on the large plate of siltstone. This is a fine multiple crinoid plate from Crawfordsville, Indiana.
