This is a beautiful specimen of Dizogocrinus indianaensis from the Edwardsville Formation of Crawfordsville, Indiana. This specimen was recently acquired from the famous DeRosear Collection. This large specimen is EXTREMELY 3-dimensional and exhibits very fine detail. The MANY arms are complete to the very tips, which is quite unusual. The specimen has excellent color and contrast and is nicely showcased on the block of siltstone. This is a great example of this unusual crinoid from the DeRosear Collection.
