This is a very collectible piece of Dominican Amber. It is a Pseudoscorpion (Pseudoscorpiones) trapped within the amber piece. This Pseudoscorpion has very nice detail. The claws display well, and the legs and segmented body are nicely preserved. There are also other insects fossilized within the amber piece. This is a rare and unusual inclusion in Dominican Amber (small close-up photo is included for free).
