This is a very aesthetic specimen of a rare Sequoia branch from Montana. This specimen is unique in the fact that it shows a multi-branching limb. There are MANY smaller fronds attached to the main branch - this is a very unusual occurrence. The branch has great color and wonderful detail. The fossil is well centered on a natural plate of matrix. This is a superb display specimen of a full Redwood branch from the Oligocene.
