This is an unusual insect in amber. It is a fine Scelionid Wasp trapped in amber from the Dominican Republic. This Scelionid Wasp is very sleek and has nice detail. The long antennae and legs display beautifully. There is also a complete, hairy Spider trapped in the amber piece. The Wasp and Spider are easily seen in the clear amber nugget. This is a very collectible fossil wasp and spider entombed in Dominican Amber.
