This is a very uncommon insect in amber. It is a nice Cricket trapped in Dominican Amber. This specimen is very detailed and is easily seen in the cognac-colored piece of amber. This is a well preserved example of a fossilized cricket from the Dominican Republic (small close-up photo is included for free).
