This is an impressive crinoid from the Burlington Formation. It is a large Synbathocrinus dentatus from Missouri. Crinoid crowns with stem are extremely rare in the Burlington Formation. This crinoid is very 3-dimensional and displays great plate structure. The long, uniserial arms are nicely showcased. Attached to the cup is a sizeable section of stem. This is a fine example of a Synbathocrinus crown with stem intact.

This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
