This is a beautiful carniverous dinosaur tooth. It is an excellent Gorgosaurus libratus Tooth from Alberta, Canada. This specimen was recently acquired from the famous Valverde Collection, and was a centerpiece of the collection for years. The tooth has great detail - the enamel preservation is spectacular. The tip of the tooth is still intact, and the razor-sharp serrations are very easily seen. The natural chocolate-brown coloration is strikingly beautiful. This is a very displayable and collectible dinosaur tooth that came directly from a major dinosaur fossil collection.
