Here is a nice piece of amber from the Oligocene deposits of the Dominican Republic. A spider and a fungus gnat are both entombed in the polished piece of amber. The insects exhibit fine detail and are easily seen in the golden yellow fossil resin. Close-up photos will be included for free.
