This is a very rare crinoid from Russia. It is a Dicromyocrinus from The Pennsylvanian. This is the only example of this type we have ever seen. The calyx has excellent plate structure. The arms also show the plate detail very well. There is also a gastropod attached to the cup - this is a very collectible feature. And there is even a beautiful Spirifer brachiopod preserved at the bottom of the plate (see close-up photo). It is simply a great specimen of this unusual Pennsylvanian crinoid from Russia.
