This is an unusual grouping of insects and arachnids. It is a swarm of three Fungus Gnats, two Midges, and a Mite all in one piece of Dominican Amber. All of the insects have very nice detail and display well. The Phoretic Mite also has very good detail. Together, these insects/arachnid combine to form a unique amber specimen. It is a very unusual menagerie of fossilized bugs (two close-up photos are included for free).
