This is a rare inclusion in Baltic Amber. It is a Fossil Flower from Russia. Plants, especially flowers, are rare occurrences in amber - they had to fall in or be blown into the amber, whereas insects could crawl or fly into the sap. This specimen has great detail, and the texture on the petals is still preserved. The flower is easily seen, centered in the large amber piece. This is probably the best fossil flower of any kind that we have ever had.
