This is a beautiful crinoid specimen from Crawfordsville. The crinoid on the left is Hypselocrinus hoveyi. This is an uncommon crinoid from this location. The cup has good plate structure. The uniserial arms are well displayed. The crinoid has a long stem attached. The crinoid on the right is Agaricocrinus americanus. This crinoid is very 3-dimensional. The stout arms show the pinnules very nicely. This crinoid also has a long stem attached. A couple of the cirri are showing. The crinoids are centered on a rectangular block of matrix. These two crinoids, with their long, crossing stems, make for a very aesthetic specimen.
