This is a beautiful plate of Branching Dendrites from the classic locality of Solnhofen, Germany. This huge plate has a fabulous array of dendritic formations preserved on the slab. Although the structures look somewhat like fossil plants, these are Manganese crystal structures. The detail of the dendrites is second to none, just spectacular. The plate also has killer dendrites preserved on the back side of the plate. And at almost TEN inches across, this is a huge display slab. This is a very collectible and displayable plate of Manganese dendrites preserved on Solnhofen Limestone.
