This is a very nice vertebrate fossil. It is a large Bison (Buffalo) femur from the Ice Age glaciation deposits of Nebraska. This specimen is quite solid and has excellent bone detail. Both ends of the bone are wonderfully intact, and the natural color is very nice. This specimen would make for a super display specimen. This is a superb example of a large fossil leg bone from an Ice Age buffalo.
