Here is a very interesting fossil bird track from the Green River Formation of Utah. There is a very large water bird tracks on the plate. This track was probably made by a Flamingo-like bird. It is very easy to understand how a bird made tracks in the mud along the shoreline of the lake. The mud later turned to stone and the bird tracks were preserved. This is a great specimen of a large bird track from the Eocene.
