Here is a very fine example of an unusual fossil. This is an unidentified "net" bryozoan from the Middle Devonian of Pennsylvania. This wonderful specimen is a very nice example of the colonial animal. The fossil has excellent color and contrast and has very fine detail preserved. And it is a split pair - both halves of the fossil are present. This is a very distinct specimen of this uncommon, enigmatic fossil.
