This is a very nice example of Antrimpos sp. from the famous Solnhofen Limestone of Germany. This shrimp is from the Jurassic and exhibits very fine detail. The segmented body of the shrimp is quite evident. The legs and antennae are well displayed. The fossil has nice brownish color and contrasts wonderfully with the light yellow matrix plate. The extinct arthropod is well showcased on the large, natural slab of lithographic limestone. This is a very collectible specimen of a fossil shrimp from this famous collecting site.
