Here is a beautiful fossil reptile. It is a museum quality specimen of Keichousaurus hui from the Triassic of China. This dinosaur-like reptile is extremely well preserved and exhibits great detail. The head, long neck, body, limbs, and lengthy tail are all present. Many of the small teeth can be seen in the skull. The limbs are exquisitely displayed in the splayed position and even the tiny digits of the fingers are present. The dark black bones of the Keich are very robust and contrast wonderfully with the lighter-colored matrix. But the most collectible feature is that it is a split pair - both halves of the fossil are present and offered together. This PROVES that the fossil is REAL and has not been faked in any way! This is a very collectible split pair specimen of this dinosaur-like reptile.
