This is a very complete vertebrate fossil. It is a nice Keichousaurus hui from the Triassic of China. This dinosaur-like reptile is well preserved and exhibits fine detail. The head, long neck, body, limbs, and lengthy tail are all present. The limbs are beautifully displayed in a splayed position, and almost all of the tiny digits of the feet are present (rare). The Keichousaur is almost perfectly centered on the smooth, rectangular plate of shale. This is a very fine example of this dinosaur-like reptile from the Triassic Period.
