This is a striking crinoid fossil. It is a nice Cupulocrinus from Ontario, Canada. This crinoid is white in color and has great contrast against the dark matrix. The crinoid is also very detailed - the arms and plate structure are easily seen. It is nicely centered on the squared matrix plate. It is a great example of an Ordovician crinoid.
