This is a nice plate of lithographic limestone with two Carpopenaeus callirostris shrimp exposed. This specimen is from the Cenomanian Layers of Lebanon. Due to political unrest, specimens from this location are becoming increasingly difficult to obtain. The fossil shrimp have very good color and contrast. The detail of the shrimp is easily seen. The shrimp are aesthetically spaced on the rectangular matrix plate. This is a very displayable multiple plate of fossil shrimp from the Cretaceous.
