This is a classic fossil fish replica. It is a large Mioplosus labracoides from Wyoming. This specimen was acquired from the Richard Busch Collection, who was the Preparator/Asst. Curator at the North Museum in Lancaster, PA from 1965-1992. This extinct fish was a predator, at the top of the ancient food chain. The detail is excellent, and the color is similar to the actual fossil. The replica has been framed for optimal display. This is a beautiful fossil fish replica made by, and acquired directly from, Richard Busch.
