Here is a very fine example of an unusual fossil. This is an unidentified "branching" bryozoan from the Rochester Shale of New York. This wonderful specimen is a very nice example of the distinct animal. The fossil has excellent form and has very fine detail preserved. This is a very cool example of this uncommon, enigmatic fossil.
