Here is a beautiful specimen of a European ammonite. This is an excellent Parkinsonia ammonite from the Jurassic of Germany. The cephalopod has a very rounded keel and displays distinct ribbing. The ammonite is inflated and exhibits great detail. The colorful ammonite displays the smaller, inner whorls in wonderful fashion. This specimen is well displayed on the block of natural matrix. This is a fabulous Parkinsonia ammonite from Germany.
