This is a very nice slab of fossil blastoids (Heteroschisma subtruncatum) from Alpena, Michigan. There are two fine blastoids on the plate. The individual fossils are very detailed. The color and contrast are fully natural and quite striking. This is a great double example of two early blastoids from the Devonian.
