This is a cool, enigmatic fossil. It is a large Tuboid Graptolite from the Ordovician of Morocco. This specimen is quite distinct - the branching patern is very easily seen. The graptolite covers most of the front side of the repaired plate, and there are even some branches preserved on the back side. This is a fine example of this unusual type of graptolite from the Ordovician.
