This is a fabulous example of a classic trilobite. It is a HUGE Paralejurus tenuistriatus from Morocco. This striking specimen was prepared under a microscope in the EXTINCTIONS Prep Lab. Paralejurus are usually about 2 inches or so in length - this specimen is over three and a half inches long! It is the largest of this type we have ever seen. This trilobite is not only very large, it is extremely well preserved - the detail is just amazing. The bug has wonderful natural coloration - more of a light grey-brown than the standard dark black. The trilobite is beautifully showcased on the sculpted block of limestone. This is an extremely collectible and displayable example of a Paralejurus tenuistriatus - a huge, top quality example.
