Here is a very nice plate of fossils from the Eocene of Colorado. There are many nice insects on this slab. Most are different types of insects. Under magnification, the fossils exhibit terrific detail. The insects contrast nicely with the lighter-colored matrix. The fossils are well showcased on the natural-edged plate of shale that also contains what seems to be a small branch. This is an extremely fine slab with different fossil insects from the Eocene age.
